Action for Charity is the trading name of Action Events Limited, a company owned and managed by Ann Frampton and Gay Bentley-Coleman. The company has been providing successful fundraising event management for UK charities for 11 years.

Action for Charity has many years of experience in managing overseas and UK events and has raised more than £9 million for the charities we represent. Many charities have worked with Action for Charity successfully for years and an ever-growing proportion of our event participants come back time and again to take part in another one of our challenges.

We have developed a wide range of tailor-made charity events that are raising substantial funds for our clients. This includes women-only cycle challenges around the world for Professor Robert Winston; integrated cycle rides for able-bodied and disabled cyclists for Lord Ivar Mountbatten’s spinal injury charity Regain and Let’s Trek for Children events for a partnership of four charities working with sick and disadvantaged children brought together by Action for Charity. Our Hike for Hope event – for two charities working to find cures for prostate and gynaecological cancers – has raised more than £1 million to date.

Acting as agents for our charities we initiate, plan and market an event; recruit fundraising participants and fully administer the project throughout. This includes organising information meetings and training days as well as accompanying participants on all overseas events.
