JOIN SPORTING LEGENDS AND SUPPORTERS OF THE SPINAL INJURY CHARITY REGAIN TO CELEBRATE THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF TETRAPLEGIC MEN AND WOMEN. It is an opportunity to recognise the considerable achievements of tetraplegic (severely paralysed) men and women and an important aspect of the day is the opportunity it gives tetraplegics from across the UK to get together. REGAIN is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to improving the independence of people who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sporting accident. This includes riding, cycling, diving and rugby injuries. People who were fit and active sports people whose lives changed in a second when they sustained an injury.
Sports personalities at previous luncheons include Jason Leonard, Frank Bruno, John Inverdale, Brough Scott, Jenny Pitman, Richard Dunwoody, Kyran Bracken, Damon Hill and Peter Winterbottom. Ticket costs for tetraplegic guests and their carers and partners are funded by the charity.
Full information, venue details and ticket prices will be available soon. Telephone Event Organiser Ann Frampton at Action for Charity on 0845 408 2698 to register your interest.
