CYCLE THROUGH THE LAND OF THE KINGS ON A FIVE-DAY CHALLENGE IN RAJASTHAN.

Join a very special fundraising ride that starts with a visit to the stunning Taj Mahal and finishes in the magnificent “Pink City” of Jaipur. This exciting challenge will take us off the beaten track through colourful Rajasthan. We will cycle approximately 400km over five consecutive days observing and experiencing a fascinating landscape, culture and rural life and staying in accommodation that ranges from campsites to an Indian palace. Our journey will be full of fun and friendship as we cycle both on and off-road. We finish in the region’s capital city of Jaipur with its exquisite fort and impressive ancient buildings and temples.

Funds raised by the India Bike Ride will support the work of REGAIN – the only charitable organisation dedicated solely to improving the independence of men and women who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sports injury. The charity provides direct help with the purchase of specialist equipment like sports wheelchairs, voice-activated computers and hand cycles. The charity currently has a waiting list of men and women from across the UK needing equipment that will make a real difference to their lives. As for the charity’s previous overseas events, tetraplegic hand cyclists will take up the challenge alongside able-bodied participants.
