DISCOVER THE AFRICAN ISLAND OF MADAGASCAR on this breathtaking cycle ride through one of the most ecologically rich countries on the planet.
Join internationally-recognised urologist Professor Roger Kirby for the third overseas cycle challenge to raise funds for urological medicine. It will be a tough five-day journey in the north east of the island famous for its evergreen rainforests. The group will cycle a total of around 430kms through highland villages, paddy fields and lush tropical fruit plantations on both tarmac and dusty, off-road trails. It is guaranteed to be a journey full of fun and friendship as the group experience the magic of this fascinating island and the Malagasy people firsthand.
Funds raised by the ride will support the work of The Urology Foundation (formerly the British Urological Foundation) in improving the management of urological disease through the development and support of medical education and sponsorship of research - training healthcare professionals specialising in urology and supporting basic research by funding scholarships.
