CYCLE ALONG THE INDIAN OCEAN - EXPERIENCE RURAL AFRICA – SEE FANTASTIC WILDLIFE AND BE PART OF THE FIGHT AGAINST HEART DISEASE. The fourth Big Heart Bike Ride takes place in the east African country of Tanzania. It will raise funds for four heart charities: British Heart Foundation, CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), Tiny Tickers charity and HEART UK.
The Big Heart Bike Ride in Africa is an opportunity to challenge yourself for a great cause in an amazing location. Three previous Big Heart rides in Cuba, India and across the Sinai Desert in Egypt have raised more than £100,000 to fight heart disease. The latest challenge takes place in Tanzania, land of Kilimanjaro and home to lush tropical forests, pristine beaches and celebrated national parks. It is a country with many places of great beauty and abundant wildlife. Our bike ride takes us from the major port city, and former capital, of Dar es Salaam through nature reserves, rural countryside, local villages to the foot of the Nguru Mountains. It is a journey that is guaranteed to be full of fun and friendship.
If you know anyone who has heart problems or heart disease or if you would like to stop heart problems ruining millions of lives take positive action and join The Big Heart Bike Ride in Africa.
