“I am about to sign up for my 4th Women for Women cycle challenge organised by Action for Charity. Ann and Gay do a brilliant job in bringing the events together, ensuring everyone has a great time and achieves their own personal challenge. They are a great team and I am looking forward to cycling with them again.”
TV presenter Fern Britton, participant in Action for Charity’s Women for Women challenges in Egypt, India and Cuba.

“I can’t thank both you and Ann enough for what you have given me, the Brazil Trip changed me in many ways, I am more confident, driven, happy and feeling fulfilled, meeting amazing people seeing wonderful sights, dancing in night clubs!”
Sarah Thorne, Regain Brazil Bike Ride, September 2008

I just wanted to take a moment to offer my heart felt thanks to Gay and the Action for Charity team for what has been quite simply the most exhilarating, life-changing and spirit-raising experience of my life. The place and most especially the people made it, along with the money raised, simply outstanding. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Larry Hughes, Big Heart Bike Ride in Cuba, April 2007

I would just like to say THE BIGGEST thank you to absolutely everyone who made the Three Peaks Challenge possible. It was simply the best event I have ever been involved with.  The organisation was just amazing.  Although I, along with the rest of my team, feel like we've been in a car crash this morning, we enjoyed the weekend and will carry the memory of it for many years to come, so much so we are talking of doing it again! Thanks to you all.
Jenny Morgan on behalf of team MADBIRDSANDGORDON, Three Peaks Challenge 2008

"I just wanted to thank you for your company and your support during the trip which was truly amazing, not only in terms of  the organisation and support but in terms of the personal challenge and the many, many wonderful friends I had the opportunity to meet. I thought the Action for charity team and the Classic Tours team were outstanding and I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to meet you all. I am in no doubt that this experience will not be in isolation and I look forward to details regarding future challenges."
Su Williams - Women for Women Cycle India 2008

"Please pass on our thanks to the whole team involved with Race the Sun.  What a fantastic day, the challenge was gruelling and that last 15 miles of the cycle felt nearly impossible at times, but we did it.  A very well-considered course that had everything a challenge should have.  Our team is so awed by the whole thing we are already discussing the possibilities for next year.  The organisation was unlike anything I had experienced before from the marshalling to the provision of food, drinks and even a bike mechanic!  Thank you again."
Trudy Hurst - Team member, Race the Sun 2005

"I would like to thank everyone for an absolutely tremendous time. It was brilliant, I had a great time loving every minute of it, okay not every minute but it was a week I shall never forget….The comradeship was something I haven't experienced for a long time."
Eric Howden - Let’s Bike for Children Jordan Desert Challenge March 2007

"I broke my neck in a mountain bike accident in 1994 and suffer from a spinal cord injury called Tetraplegia. In October 2006 I took part in a very tough physical and emotional challenge for me - a 400km ride through the Beijing region of China. I was with 30 able-bodied cyclists and five other disabled hand cyclists..… Every stage before, during and after the challenge Action for Charity were on hand to give help and advice where needed. From day one we all pulled together as a team ensuring everyone got through.  It really was the trip of a lifetime and the icing on the cake for me was personally raising £7,500 to help other tetraplegics fund day-to-day living equipment."
Andy Lee - Tetraplegic participant, Regain China Bike Ride October 2006

"I have now completed four charity bike rides through Jordan, Vietnam, South Africa and China and each time it has been an amazing experience, meeting new friends, seeing fantastic new places and hopefully doing some good as well…. Ann Frampton and her team did an absolutely magnificent job organising the events. All of the advance preparation including advice on training as well as fundraising was extremely well-prepared, even to the extent of training days beforehand to make sure everyone is properly ready.

Ann has an amazing ability to manage all eventualities with a smile and a very special knack of being able to persuade anyone doubting their own abilities that they can succeed. I also took part in the Action for Charity Snowdonia Charity Challenge and once again the organisation was perfect, from the bacon sandwiches at five in the morning, through the marshalling and control of the event and right on to the evening celebrations after an exhausting but inspiring day. I am now looking forward to a fifth bike ride, again for Regain, which Action for Charity is organising in Brazil."
Gwynne Furlong - Participant Regain cycle challenges in South Africa, China and the Snowdonia Charity Challenge

"I have participated in three Action for Charity events - cycling across Kenya, China and Egypt in support of the charity Regain. Each adventure has been very challenging both physically and mentally, but it’s a remarkable way of raising money for others in a way that provides one with unforgettable,  awesome experiences every time. Thank you to Action for Charity for their efficiency and for making each event such a well-organised success. Keep up the good work!"
Piers Stone - Tetraplegic participant, Regain cycle challenges in Kenya, China and Egypt.

I have taken part in Cycle the Nile in 2004 and Cycle India in 2007 and both events have left me with friends and memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot thank Action for Charity enough for two absolutely fantastic challenges.
Donna Cooper – Cycle the Nile, 2004 and Cycle India, 2007
